  We recently moved to the Savannah area and after staying late at Tybee, we stopped here for dinner on our way home to Guyton. We had not been to Applebee's in years, but this was on our way and we thought we would swing in. My husband ordered the Western Steak burger and said it was nothing special. His meal was probably the best of the three ordered. I ordered salmon with a lemon glaze. It was atrocious. My garlic mashed potatoes we tasty, the green beans were hard and cold. I ordered my three year old their steak kids meal with apple slices and yogurt dipping sauce. The apple came with the seeds and core in place and half of it was bruised mush. The steak was a dry, tasteless hockey puck. The waitress was alright, but not great. We had to find silverware on another table, got drinks but not straws, she seemed half asleep. We have vowed to not go to Applebee's again.

  My boyfriend and I went to watch some football. We were only ordering drinks so we sat at the bar and the place WAS NOT full. There was only one person at the bar and he was eating his meal. The bartender acted as though we WERE NOT there. We were lucky there was a menu where we sat. It was well over 10 minutes before she asked us what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered a beer and I ordered a Margarita. It took my boyfriend about 10-15 minutes to drink his beer, he had to get her attention each time he wanted another beer.
  The staff stood around taking to each other. Most of them acted as though they didn't want to be there. I don't know how long each of them had been there, but their uniforms looked like they hadn't been washed in weeks. I'm glad we didn't order any food, who knows what the kitchen and the people cooking the food looked like.

  We were seated. Took a lil while to get a waitress. Table in front of us got their food and had to call the mgr because the chicken was undercooked. We placed our order at this time. A couple was seated behind us they got their food and we were finally served our appetizer but no sauce for it or plates to eat from. We waited and the waitress finally came told her we needed plates and sauce. We waited and waited. She finally brought sauce but still no plates. So again we wait. I called waitress with the machine on table. We still wait. Finally we get plates that were wet and one had food on the back still. I asked for the mgr he came out looking like the dishwasher person. He had a apron on that was obviously dirty with flour and wet in spots. I this him about the situation and told him to cancel our order we were done. He said let me make it up to you and we got up and walked out. Will NEVER go to this Applebee's again.
